Group invariant Colombeau generalized functions
نویسنده
چکیده
We give characterizations for generalized functions invariant under certain group actions, such as groups of rotations and the Lorentz group. In the case of rotations, it answers an open question by M. Oberguggenberger in [3]. Also general one-parameter groups are considered.

Generalized Group Actions in a Global Setting
We study generalized group actions on differentiable manifolds in the Colombeau framework, extending previous work on flows of generalized vector fields and symmetry group analysis of generalized solutions. As an application, we analyze group invariant generalized functions in this setting. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000): Primary: 46F30; secondary: 46T30, 35A30, 58E40
متن کاملGeneralized solution of Sine-Gordon equation
In this paper, we are interested to study the Sine-Gordon equation in generalized functions theory introduced by Colombeau, in the first we give result of existence and uniqueness of generalized solution with initial data are distributions (elements of the Colombeau algebra). Then we study the association concept with the classical solution.
متن کاملOn the foundations of nonlinear generalized functions II
This paper gives a comprehensive analysis of algebras of Colombeau-type generalized functions in the range between the diffeomorphism-invariant quotient algebra G = EM/N introduced in part I and Colombeau’s original algebra G . Three main results are established: First, a simple criterion describing membership in N (applicable to all types of Colombeau algebras) is given. Second, two counterexa...
متن کاملSome Classes of Positive Definite Colombeau Generalized Functions
Positivity and positive definiteness in algebra of generalized functions are studied. Basic definitions and notions of Colombeau algebra of generalized functions are given and some special classes of positive definite generalized functions on those algebras are introduced. Their relation to distributions is also investigated. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (2000):
متن کاملSpherical Completeness of the Non-archimedean Ring of Colombeau Generalized Numbers
We show spherical completeness of the ring of Colombeau generalized real numbers endowed with the sharp norm. As an application, we establish a Hahn-Banach extension theorem for ultra-pseudo-normed modules of generalized functions in the sense of Colombeau.
